Norwegian language and literature 1

  • Application period 1 May (nomination from home institution is required)

This programme is for exchange students who want to strengthen and develop their Norwegian language skills whilst in Norway. You will learn about Norwegian language and literature, and experience the Norwegian lifestyle. 

Students must be enrolled in Scandinavian/Norwegian studies in their home institution, and already have good Norwegian skills. You will study alongside Norwegian students.

 

About the programme

You will get unique background knowledge and a broader perspective of the Norwegian society and language, before and now. The courses will cover the lingvistic and litterary developement in Norway from the era of the Vikings till our days. Developing good reading and writing skills is crucial in these courses.

2NO35-2 Litteratur og sjanger (15 ECTS)

Practical information

Only students from our partner institutions are admitted to this exchange programme. A high level of Norwegian language is required prior to entering the programme (equivalent to B2 Level).

Admission requirements

Only students in Scandinavian/Norwegian studies from our partner institutions are admitted to this exchange programme, and nomination from your home institution is required. B2 level of Norwegian language is required/strongly recommended.
