What is required in order to complete a research education?
What is common to all PhD candidates at INN University and what is unique for the various PhD programmes?
Research education is normally three years’ full-time studies and consists of:
- Coursework of a minimum of 30 credits’ scope
- Mid-term evaluation and progress reporting
- A research work / a PhD thesis
The coursework will also provide training in academic dissemination. This will be ensured by the PhD programmes through the organization of seminars and presentations during the research education. It is also expected that PhD candidates present parts of their work at national and international conferences and partake in a stay abroad during their doctoral studies.
