The workshop invited 65 participants with various backgrounds including education, civil society, county government, youth groups, chairman of the SDGs coalition, chairman of NGO Council and lecturers from universities. The workshop had five facilitators that presented on topics related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's). This was an interactive session where knowledge was shared and opinions recorded for further action. Each participant contributed to the workshop by sharing their understanding of the SDGs and the relevance of these at their workplaces and homes.
Educational materials helped elaborate the SGDs in general. In particular focus during the workshop were Sustainable Development Goal 4, Quality Education and 12, Responsible Consumption and Production. Educational materials on these two SDG's were distributed to all invited participants prior to and during the workshop. Recommendations made by participants were recorded and compiled into a report to be shared with implementing stakeholders in government.
