PERL/UNITWIN partners contributed to the International Conference on Consumer Research held in Bonn on September 26-27, 2016. The presentations focused on consumer education - how it has evolved and what challenges it faces today.
The ICCR was entitled, “The 21st Century Consumer: Vulnerable, Transparent and Responsible?”. Topics which were highlighted during the conference were, among other things, the role of marketing and multinational companies in creating demand, nudging, and controlling consumer choice. In addition to a wide range of research presentations, awards were given to the best young consumer researchers in the North-Rhine Westfalia region of Germany.
