Our vision for research in counselling and career guidance at HINN is to bring forward thinking and skills that contribute to continuous improvement of services in counselling and career guidance in Norway from an individual and societal perspective.
From an individual perspective, we focus on accessibility and quality of counselling and career guidance services, based on the needs individual people have during different phases in life.
This perspective also focuses on counsellors’ competence, and which skills they need in order to meet the needs of the service users.
A social perspective focuses on how services can be organized, directed and controlled, in order to be instrumental in a policy for education, work, health, and social situation.
