Artistic research and aesthetic learning processes

The research group KU/est  is a new research group at HINN and include artists and researchers from several art disciplines.

The goal of the group is to increase empirical knowledge and theoretical insights regarding aesthetic learning processes, with a particular emphasis on artistic and practice-led approaches in art education research and art performance. The current project of the group focus on Proximity and Distance in art and arts education using perspectives on embodied artaesthetics as forms of knowledge, and bodily being. We investigate forms of documentation of critical reflective practices and their relevance for the field of education.

KU/est consists of 10 members from the Faculty of Education at Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences, representing the educational subject's drama, music and arts and crafts.
