Biotechnology

Biotechnology is about the use of living organisms - plant cells, animal cells and microorganisms - to create new products and services. Biotechnology helps to solve local and global issues in food production, health and the environment.

INN University performs teaching and research in biotechnology in close cooperation with industry, particularly within the Heidner Biocluster.

We provide an  international Master's degree in applied and commercial biotechnology and a 30/60 ects programme in biotechnology at Bachelor’s level for exchange students. We also train doctoral candidates in collaboration with universities. Our students and PhD scholars are working on projects that are closely linked to our collaborating companies.
