All students from outside the EU/EEA countries need to provide documentation of sufficient funds to cover living the expenses in Norway during the planned exchange.
For the academic year 2020/2021 the amount is minimum:
- NOK 126 357 for one year
- NOK 63 178,50 for one semester
Bilateral exchange students from visa & visa-free countries
Students can provide the documentation by either:
- a letter of confirmation from the home institution confirming that the student has sufficient funds, OR
- a bank statement in the student's name, confirming that he/she has sufficient funds.
This document must be submitted together with the application to INN University.
Exception: Bilateral students on Erasmus+ grant
Bilateral students studying in an EU/EEA-country/Switzerland, do not need to provide financial documentation when applying for INN University as an Erasmus+ student. The International Coordinator in the campus of study will provide a Confirmation of Eligibility (CoE) based on the Erasmus+ grant. The bilateral students must be nominated by their home institution as Erasmus+ students prior to applying.
