During the conference...

Follow these rules and suggestions during the conference!

  • If you are presenting a paper, log in to your session 10 minutes early to check the audio and video.
    • If your paper is the first one in the session, please stay there.
  • If you are chairing a session, please log in to your session 10 minutes early.
  • During papers, please mute yourself while you are watching them (the chair can help you, if needed).
  • During papers, turn your video on (if your internet connection is stabile enough), so that presenters can see their audience. Our license allows for up to 300 participants at any Zoom meeting, with 100 cameras on.
  • 'To ask a question after a paper, please use the ‘  Raise hands’ function. When the chair calls on you, unmute yourself & ask your question.
  • Please drop by the WiP Wall and the Poster Wall, watch the videos & (most importantly) leave feedback for the presenters!
    • Sign up for a  free Padlet account so that your comments are not anonymous.
    • Otherwise, make sure to write your Name first, followed by your comment (so the presenter knows who made the comment).
  • During the social & networking events, turn your video on (if your internet connection is stabile enough). Everyone will want to see who they are talking with!
  • If you get thrown out of a room, just click on the link again & enter! :-)
  • Please tweet, post on Facebook, Instagram & whatever other social media site you prefer!
