Opening hours around Christmas and New Year

Opening hours around Christmas and New Year

The Christmas holiday is approaching, and even though the buildings are closed to the public through Christmas, it will be possible to gain access to campus buildings during the holidays as well, using a card and PIN code. The exception is Blæstad campus, which will not be open to students, only to employees. (Illustration: Pixabay)

Even though campus buildings are closed to the public during Christmas, it will be possible to gain entry to INN University’s campuses using a card and PIN code during the holidays as well.

At Evenstad, Rena, Elverum, Hamar and Lillehammer campuses, all buildings will be closed in the period from 19 December to 4 January, but both employees and students will be given access to the buildings using their cards and PIN codes between 07.00 and 22.00 every day.

Blæstad campus will be closed to students during the same period, but employees will be given access to the buildings using an employee card and PIN code between 07.00 and 22.00 every day.

The service points at Elverum, Hamar and Lillehammer campuses will be closed in the period from 19 December to 4 January.

The switchboard will be staffed during Boxing Week (28.12 to 30.12) between 10.00 and 14.00. Digital inquiries will also be answered continuously during Boxing Week. IT user support has the same opening hours as the switchboard.

The libraries’ opening hours follow the buildings' opening hours. The libraries will be mostly unstaffed, but students and staff will be given access using student and employee cards.

In Lillehammer, the library will be staffed during Boxing Week.

Are you a student requiring access to your campus during the Christmas holiday? To be able to do that, you need a student card. Remember that delivery of the card may take time, so endeavour to order your card well in advance.

Remember to adhere to infection control measures when visiting the campuses during the holiday season as well.

Do not let others into the buildings with you. It is important to be able to track who has used each card and PIN code, if the need for infection tracking arises.
