Maren Kyllingstad is the chair of the new Board of INN University for the period from January 1, 2020 to July 31, 2023.

Kyllingstad is the CEO of Innlandskraft AS, which owns the companies Gudbrandsdal Energi AS and Eidsiva Marked AS. Prior to the merger, she was chair of the board of Hedmark University of Applied Sciences and has served as a board representative at INN University in the following years. Kyllingstad has also served on the board of Innlandet Hospital Trust.

Kyllingstad has been appointed by the Ministry of Education and Research and will take over the position following Elin Nesje Vestlie, who was first chair of the interim board from 2016 and chair of the board following the merger from January 1, 2017 onward.

The Ministry of Education and Research has also appointed Hamar's new councilwoman, Christl Kvam, who resides in Biri, to the board. The two other Ministry appointed representatives are Kyrre Lekve from Nesodden and Björn Åstrand from Umeå.

The minister is pleased with the appointments

“I am very happy that they have agreed to sit on the Board. INN University is working to develop as a significant, innovative and visible player that will contribute to the further development of the region. It will contribute to growth in the Inland area and make the region more attractive as a place of residence and work. Therefore, it is important that the Board features experience from different areas of society with which INN University collaborates through education and research,” says Research and Higher Education Minister Iselin Nybø (V).
