INN University has decided to cancel all student exchange for the autumn semester 2020.

Due to COVID-19 INN University has come to the conclusion that there are too many risks attached to physical student exchange with regard to student’s safety and health. In addition, there is no certainty yet that the Norwegian borders or the campuses at our university will be open in time for the autumn semester or if physical classes will be possible or in what capacity. Prospective international students on exchange would therefore miss out on most of the intercultural experiences that are an essential part of any exchange programme. *

Spring 2021

For those who have the opportunity to move their exchange to spring 2021, given that circumstances allow and spring courses in English fit their study progression, we would happily support that and welcome you to INN University.

Digital exchange semester

Students who have applied to programmes that offer a digital exchange semester autumn 2020 (this applies to full degree master students, double degree students in Sports and Outdoors Tourism, students in Biotechnology and students admitted to the Add-On programme in Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality) will be contacted individually with specific information about their option to start their studies online autumn 2020 and, hopefully, continue with physical student exchange spring 2021.

We deeply regret not being able to welcome you as a student at INN University for the upcoming semester and thank you for your understanding.

All though there are many uncertainties we hope and plan for a normal spring semester with the chance to welcome international students on campus once again.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact International Office

(*Please note that: Partner universities and students in the fields of forestry, wildlife management and applied ecology will receive additional information concerning the fall semester.)
