I am an assistant professor of English language at the Faculty of Education, Department of Humanities, and a member of the CorLing research group. In my ongoing PhD project, I explore spoken English interlanguage, with an emphasis on the features that may contribute to fluency (e.g. pauses and fillers) and the potential for transfer of fluency-related features between languages. I mainly teach courses related to English language and English language teaching – including topics such as spoken English, spoken corpora, pragmatics, and academic writing – and I have also supervised BA and MA theses on these and similar topics.
