Fred Fröhlich is employed since 2015 as Associate Professor in 3D Modeling/Animation and Digital Art.
He is a true 3D generalist with more than two decades of experience in computer graphics. Fröhlich is passionate about solving artistic problems with technical means. His recent research interests focus on photogrammetry, motion capture and simulation in conjunction with realtime visualization.
Prior to working at INN he accompanied commissioned artistic projects starting from a sketch on a napkin providing previsualizations, simulations as well as production ready CAD data. He developed virtual models and digital assets for design- und planing purposes as a service for renowned artist studios like Alicja Kwade, Carsten Höller or Elmgreen & Dragset.
Fröhlich founded his visual vocabulary during his studies in Industrial Design at Halle Academy of Art and Design as well as Pphotography and Media Arts at the Media Art Department of the Leipzig Academy of Visual Arts (Germany).
